You know those bands you really get into for a while? Like, you weren’t obsessed necessarily but you constantly found yourself listening to them randomly? You started to remember the names of songs? Maybe downloaded an album?
Then they fell away for a while. You found something else you loved. You changed your music style. Whatever.
But they kept coming back. Every now and then you heard them and remembered.
And to this day, you still hear them.
I don’t know, maybe that’s just me.
But right now, that’s Evanescence. I wish I had some profoundly awesome band to reference. I don’t even generally like the genre they fall into.
But Oh. My. God.
I keep coming back.
